Luckmonger
The luckmonger is as close as halfling culture comes to a priesthood, though there is no formal organization to tend to their spiritual needs. Instead, luckmongers are halflings blessed by the goddess of Luck, dwelling in a reclusive cloister on a remote island in the shire. Their order, numbering fewer than a hundred, contemplates fate, chance, and the whims of mortality. Occasionally, a luckmonger feels the call to wander, and the order’s superiors open the sanctum, allowing the halfling to descend into caves filled with sulfurous fumes. At the end of this trial, a portal hurls the luckmonger into a scene deemed worthy of the Lady’s interference. Left to their own devices, they must then decipher her will

- special twist on devine aid (chance-based)
- hex instead of turn unholy based on turn unholy
- Blessing always a spell for the luckmonger / instead of lay on hands
- An adapted version of the disapproval table
- A separate spell table for luckmongers
- New spells:
First level:
- Change of luck (move the luck score)
- Luck of thieves (temporarily gain the luck mechanic of thieves)
- Transfer luck (temporarily give luck like halflings)
Second level:
- Charge with fleeting luck (empower a mundane weapon with a pool of fleeting luck)
- Cleanse luck (cleanse loss of luck from one transgression)
- Chance's master (secure improbable support)
- Lucky charm (create a lucky charm to aid in saving throws)
- Game mastery (influence one moment of a game of chance)
Third level:
- Tempt fate (maybe prevent a disastrous event)
- Remove luck (temporarily lower enemies' stats)
Level four:
- Restore luck (restore luck stat to former value)
- Serendipity (make some very unlikely thing happen)
Level five:
- Cheat fate
- Percive the board (get a glimse at the Gods' current affairs)
- High score (change the luck stat back to the original value)
